I can't do links but by googling the Bath Chronicle I found out that although the Headmaster wanted to expel those boys he was overruled by the School governers. It didn't give the boys ages .
I'd just like to add that it isn't always white boys picking on black. A thirteen years old lad at my grandson's school was set on by a group of Asian boys from the same school. Kicked down to the ground and had his head stamped on. They broke his cheekbone and damaged his eye socket , Put him in hospital for a week .They were all 12 or 13 years old.
