Reading about you having a BBQ. We had one yesterday. Burger and a pork chop. Zac had the pork chop bone and then I was up at 4:30 cleaning up after him.

Clearing up after our bbq yesterday. Big family get-together and it was my turn to host. I'm not looking forward to the cleaning up bit, a bit burnt and greasy.

I've just got back from picking up a really pretty dress from Next. Spent most of the day getting over a curry and not doing what I was supposed to as I was hooked on reading 'that' thread.

Just returned home from the last Sunday band performance of the summer. Really pleasant to sit and chat with friends and do crosswords while being treated to all sorts of music.
Now have feet up with a cuppa.

Sitting ,browsing, feeling a bit down I often miss Dave most on Sundays, because we had a Sunday routine and that hasn't been changed by something new yet.

Barbecue weather ... very nice!
It's been lovely and warm in Manchester all day today. I've been busy ... helped steam off some wallpaper first thing, made some breakfast, then went and did some cleaning for my brother, came home and did the lawn. Now feet up waiting for an order in to arrive.

Been painting the garden gate. It's wrought iron with lots of twirly bits. Took ages, as you have to paint a bit of metal, then go round the back to paint the reverse. Looks quite nice though. Still have the fence to paint.
