For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I fully expect the IHRA definition to be adopted in full - it was mealy-mouthed of them to say they had adopted it, but just not all of the definitions. There was one poster on this site who tried to argue the same thing. Either it is adopted in full or it is not adopted.
The trouble is Labour adopting it in full now will be equivalent of "I'm not racist but...." or "Some of my best friends are.....". In other words they're going to be saying something just so they feel they cannot be accused of anti-semitism.
The damage has already been done. I don't think they can undo it.
