What Causes Messages In Bt Internet To Become Threaded?

In the past few months, occasionally some messages are becoming threaded. It's not something I want or like. Today, looking at a Sent item I see it has been threaded to 30 previous messages to a pal I email a couple of times every week. Why this correspomdent and not others?

Some email systems have a thing called "Conversation View" (or similar name) where all the emails on a similar topic (with the same subject line maybe) are grouped together. Have a look at the settings for your email system and see if there is something like "conversation view" that you can turn off. It may have a different name in your email system.
