Comparison Websites - Ridiculous Comparisons !!!

car is due renewal, went on www.gocompare got quoted £391 per year ( down 50 quid from last year so im happy )
www.gocompare.com allways comes in with best lowest quotes over the last 4-5 years easilly



went on www.moneysupermarket.com and my lowest best quote was double !!! coming in at around £698

i would advise anyone to steer well clear of this site as i seem to remember that last time around also they came in with extortionate quotes.
so avoid this site at all costs !!

I use compare the market ..always find a decent quote with a reputable company..plus 2 for 1 cinema and meal deals !

no, they offered a little more in way of lower excess etc but still i allways find gocompare way better

worth doing a compare each year..sometimes current provider will match a new price if you phone them

I've spent days trying out all of those sites but I've never managed to beat the renewal price that Post Office Insurance have quoted me anyway.

Never have used a comparison site.....because I'm not after the lowest price. I want the best cover at a fair price and always insure with a Which? Recommended Provider (there's usually only two or three) - and I ask for quotes from each.

We tend to stick to the same one as price is reasonable but when the renewal comes in we go on-line to their site and put in same details as renewal quote and it always comes out at least £10 cheaper sometimes a lot more. Then phone them up and get it for the on-line price.

This year our gas and electric renewal company, Eon told us to go on-line to get their best tariff. Can't work that one out as would have thought you would get the best deal from Eon directly but not according to them even when I phoned them to ask.
