Humax Box Playing Up

Decided to watch"Love Your garden "that I recorded earlier. It had recorded it but couldn't play it. It has done this a few times lately. Anyone any idea what is happening or not!

These boxes are not very reliable I find with mine the only way to cure its frequent niggles is to re set back to factory defaults that tends to cure it till the next time.
On mine its
Menu, Settings, Installation, Factory Default
Then just set the darn thing up again

trouble is that deletes all saved recordings

Only if you select Format HDD during the re set
