I have a 1988 honda civc with the TR70 Sanden AC compressor. The bearing went on the old one so I got another compressor but I cannot find instructions to replace the compressor, I have looked through the repair manuals at my local library and they didnt have anything like that. Are there any websites that may have any info or instructions on replacing this compressor on this car??? Thanks.

I think you will find it is now illegal to release refrigerant fluid into the environment, to change an aircon compressor you would have to do that.

You should take it to a aircon specialist who will have the equipment to safely drain the fluid and replace with new after fitting a new compressor.

Well actually it is illeagal with this car because it has not been converted to R134A, it is still running on R12 refrigerant. I already found a place that will release the refrigerant, but I want to avoid paying the high labor so Im going to replace the compressor myself after I have someone drain the refrigerant, so all I need is some instructions to do so.
