What A Lovely Day

Did lots of cutting back in the garden, and I do mean lots, took ages to get rid of it all. Then took the pup (when do they stop being pups and become dogs?) for a walk along the river where he had a swim, and we became very anxious for a golden retriever which had got into a bit of difficulty in the middle of the river...all good in the end, thankfully.
Back home, cuppa tea, red kites swooping down, very spectacular, will never get used to it,
Things to look forward to over the next week or so, good as it gets.

A student stopped to thank me for letting her know where her English lesson was being held today, God she was beautiful, young and fresh, a mass of affro hair. Made me think how time flies and hope she gets what she wants from her life.

I used to say that all the time about my German Shepherd puppy. 'When is she ever going to grow up?'
