I am so pleased he's survived. I don't know how old he is but I surmise he must be at least my age (69). Perhaps it's just me but I am not comfortable with the idea of sponsoring someone to perform a gruelling physical task. If approached for a donation to what I think is a worthy cause I will happily give regardless without wanting people to jump through hoops.
