Arthiritis
1 Answers
I had severe pain in my left arm bicep two years ago. after X-ray it was blamed on severe arthritis of the neck, the doctor actually said your neck is Knackered, and only pain killers could be prescribed. after somewhere around 6 months later, the pain totally went, but now the excruciating pain is in my right bicep, and the left is totally pain free, although my neck is causing pain, it has been for around 8 years, no let up, and I only sleep for short periods all night and have to keep turning over etc. I am now almost at the point where I can't use my right arm, even to the point of holding my wrist with the other hand so i can drink from a glass. Why has the pain moved from one side to the other??? Anyone had similar problem?
Thank you.
Thank you.

As it, at last, began to get better, I started getting pain in my left thigh and knee. When the right leg finally got better, I went to the doctor because of the severe pain now in my left leg. After x-ray, it turned out I had very bad arthritis in my left hip (my pain was referred ). My doc said, the body only registers severe pain from one source at a time. She then cheerfully said, when I have had my hip replacement done ( soon I hope), I will probably start feeling pain in my right hip, which has arthritis too. This may be your problem.
I sympathise with the waking up at night. I do as well and have to get up for a while. Only about 3 times a night though, so not nearly as bad as you.
