Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. It's been raining, now it's mizzling. not at all nice. So it will be out to do the essential, get the paper, see my favourite checkout girl and get some skydive money from her. Then it looks like domesticity. Such fun I have!

Tiggy 2 is out and about, just seen him, (I think it's a him from the size,) He'll get use to me.

Yes Minty should'nt be to long, a real miraculous recovery, thanks to the brilliant NHS and Mrs's will to live. She just needs to have some physiotherapy to get her moving properly again, after 10 days in induced coma / sedation, not really surprising.

oh dear ..sounds like she has been through the mill.. sounds something serious has occurred ?

Yes Minty She suffered total kidney failure, after ambulance to A and E, she was straight to an intensive care unit, with dialysis and breathing m/c plus I dont how many drips / injections. But thankfully thats all behind us now, and been transferred to a normal medical ward.

phew..that must have been very worrying and frightening for you..hopefully the reasons for the failure has been detected and remedial action has been taken soas to bring about a full recovery ..my best wishes to her ..xx

Yes Minty touch and go for a few hours / days. You get a feeling in A and E with all the nurses / doctors doing their thing. Asked consultant at the time what prognosis was, he advised to contact all family immediately, so yes was a bit scary, but as I say behind us now, and onwards and upwards xxx

Minty, I did treasure her before all this, so will just carry on as before, just a bit more indulgent I expect. But we are fortunate in many ways, because of previous her back injury (caused by nursing for over 30 years and moving patients manually without any of the modern lifting aids and H and S regs) we have stairlift, walk in wet room ~ loo all on ground floor.

that's fortunate Tony..my next project after porch will be bathroom...get bath out and large double size walk in shower..refit all round...

Minty just go for a total wet room, is that what you mean ~ when you get that far will give you some pointers on flooring etc if you want?
