Supplement To Help Prevent Macular Degeneration

I have wet macular degeneration in my right eye and would very much like to prevent having it in my left eye as well. The doctors did tell me things I coukd take to help prevent amd but I have forgotten mist of them. Any help please ?

400 international units (equivalent to about 270mg) of vitamin E
