I have heard that drinking alcohol through a straw gets you drunk quicker....is there any truth to this and if there is, what causes it?

Yes its true,I've done it many times !!
Think it has something to do with the fact that when you drink from a glass you are also taking in oxygen,whereas when you have it through a straw you are not.
I may be wrong,if I am someone enlighten me !!!!!!!!

Ive heard this is true and it possibly does work i mean i always use straws when i drink so thats probably why im always rolling on the floor haha but apparently its because you drink much faster through a straw which i have noticed is true - when i drink through a straw i just constantly suck the straw but when i take sips its usually every few mins!
