Not sure how to do this. There are 4 screwholes, but there are very narrow and deep.

Do I need a special screwdriver and can I buy this relatively cheap anywhere?

Are you sure they're screws?
Most radios come out with a special tool - double pronged to releas catches. Most garages will have them - takes 2 seconds to pop it out, or halfords etc.

Mebbe they aren't screws! I just assumed they were.

Can I buy this tool myself? Or do I have to pay to get this done?
if you can get hold of some wire (green chainlink fence or maybe a coat hanger) about 6 inches long, make 2 "u" shapes the same width of the holes (2 on the left & 2 on the right) push them in together and it should release the radio. it works for me every time! good luck.
I bought a pair on ebay last year for about 1.50.
