Yes it is all so easy to take the mick when you are sitting in front of your TV not having to actually DO any of the tasks.
Had you heard of everything on their list, would you know where to go to buy each item?
You don't think perhaps the show is edited to MAKE them look a bit "silly", to make it more entertaining.
I used to work for a large international computer company and did a number of "non-technical" courses where we had to complete all sorts of unusual projects (make a cooked breakfast up a tree for example).
It is NOT simple when at short notice you are given a project to complete with just a little bit of information with a group of people you don't know.
But if it makes you feel better just continue to sit in front of your TV saying how stupid they all are, and how brilliant you are.
I would like to see if you auditioned for the show how far you would get in the selection process !

guilbert: "Had you heard of everything on their list, would you know where to go to buy each item?" - no but I'd have researched what each one was then were to find it then gone and got it. They spend too much time arguing among themselves and trying to impress by using words like "strategy" a lot, rather than getting on with it.
"You don't think perhaps the show is edited to MAKE them look a bit "silly", to make it more entertaining." - yes no doubt but the base material still needs to be there and there is not much editing needed.
"I used to work for a large international computer company and did a number of "non-technical" courses where we had to complete all sorts of unusual projects (make a cooked breakfast up a tree for example)." - I work for a major world bank and believe me I've done 1000s of pointless courses, I know what you mean,
"It is NOT simple when at short notice you are given a project to complete with just a little bit of information with a group of people you don't know." - agreed
"But if it makes you feel better just continue to sit in front of your TV saying how stupid they all are, and how brilliant you are." - I will thanks.
"I would like to see if you auditioned for the show how far you would get in the selection process ! " - not very far because I am not the sort of person they want, gobby with no talent but massive delusions of grandeur.
