Considering A Late Deal On A Cruise To Norway
Before booking just wondering what sea conditions to expect also daylight hours and temperatures in ports of call. Would be travelling late October. Thanks

Norway's a very big (or, more accurately, very long) country, with big differences in weather between the south and the north.
In Kristiansand, at the southern end of Norway, sunrise will be around 7.40am and sunset around 4.40pm at the end of October. Temperatures are expected to peak at around 12C during the day and drop to around 8C overnight.
In Tromso, in the north of Norway, sunrise will be at around 7.55am, with sunset at around 3.00pm. Temperatures are expected to peak at around 4C during the day, falling to around -3C overnight.

As Spath suggests, modern cruise liners don't roll (from side to side) very much but they'll still pitch (from end to end) in high seas, such as this liner off the coast of Oslo:
