I have recently moved into my house and have suddenly realised that now I have a garden I had better look after it regularly as I don't want a jungle.
The garden is just grass. There seems to be small blackberry plants popping through around the edges and even at points in the grass. THere are a couple of patches of small stinging nettles too (didn't realise until i stepped barefoot on one!). There are also a few small plants round the edges - i don't know what they are but some of them have a few pretty flowers. I don't think anything has been planted on purpose - they've just cropped up. Is the best way to get rid of the unwanted ones to dig them up - or is there some killer i can put on to them?? The less work for me the better!
the best way to get rid of nettles is to mow them. If you can't get at them to mow, then get Root Out - available from Garden shops and centres. Not too expensive, and gets rid of everything. No need to keep children and pets away after using, and does not damage the ground.
