Thankfully the number gets bigger all the time! There were 48 shorts for the Tracy Ullman Show and, at latest count, 289 episodes have been shown in the States - the latest being 'Little Girl in the Big Ten' in which "Lisa uses her newly found gymnastics skills to pose as a college student." Probably funnier than it sounds.
