I have just bought a rover 400 and i need a code to entre a to use the radio...dose any one have a cue what the code could be???

You could try looking in the servicing book you would get with the car, for the radio code, failing that contact a local Rover Dealer theres no cost in asking them it maybe set at a default code? Hope this helps
