There was a trailer for the Queen film which is definitely on the list for later this year but there was also one for Rocketman which I didn't know about. Will definitely be going to see that

I've read really good reviews of the new one, but it got an absolute stinker in The Times by Kevin Maher: 'titter-inducingly bad' and 'phoney'

"Cooper plays Jackson Maine like Jeff Bridges form Crazy Heart after a stroke. He stares at the ground a lot, drinks bourbon by the neck...and in the changing room of a late-night drag bar he quashes any doubts Ally might have about her looks with the unintentional comedy corker: 'Your nose is beautiful. Can I touch it?'

I want to see this, but sadly my nearest cinema(not another one for miles) isn't showing it!

Apparently there's some kind of kerfuffle between Vue Cinema and 'whoever' and they cannot show it :(

Saw it last night, not bad at all.
Usual excellent performance by Cooper and Lady GaGa was very good too.
All that said it didn’t quite live up to expectation, I’d give it 3.5 stars as opposed to the 4 it’s currently got on the Odeon site reviews.
Off to see First Man in an hour, very much looking forward to that.
