Flu Vaccinations.
22 Answers
Mrs T and I both had our jabs today.
I am fine but the love of my life is complaining of a sore arm.
Sadly, although I offered to, the pretty young pharmacist refused my offer to take all my clothes off to accommodate the vaccination process.
Never mind.
Mrs T bought me 4 Fosters for being a good boy, not crying or embarrassing her.
There is always tomorrow though!

I have done some googling and the NHS seem to be being cagey about specifics but the explanation for us herd what don't need to know seems to be that it stimulates a more powerful immune response as o'65's immune systems seem less responsive than those of young whippersnappers. I had my first ever bad reaction this year...took me a week to get over it...but I know younger people who get the vac and some of those have had a bad reaction to it too. All of us said the same....loads better than getting actual flu....so I suspect its one of the included strains that are giving some of us problems and not the adjuvant bit.
