would Tommy's supporters still be behind him if today's 16 newly sentenced jailbirds had instead walked?

As in telling me that Asian rape gangs are a bad idea, and one is on trial in this building behind me?
I didn't need 'Tommy Robinson' to break reporting restrictions in induge in contempt of court to tell me that, I'd already worked it out all by myself.

Togo - // Funnily enough after Tommy was banged up for dragging the trial into the public consciousness … //
Assuming that 'Tommy' actually did drag the trial anywhere, which is debatable, that is not a criminal offence.
Contempt of court however, is a criminal offence, as is breaching regulations on a suspended sentence, and that was why 'Tommy' was banged up.

// The jury had done their bit and the scumbags were returning for sentencing. //

The jury were still deliberating and had not given its verdict.
The trial had to be stopped and the Jury paused while the Judge decided what to do.
// A judge paused jury deliberations in the second of three linked trials over fears that the far-right figurehead’s live stream of the case from outside Leeds Crown Court would result in the case collapsing and rapists going free.
Judge Mason said
“ “No one could possibly conclude that that was likely to be anything other than highly prejudicial to the defendants in the present trial … if the jurors in my present trial get to know of this video, I will no doubt be faced with an application to discharge the jury.” //

Yaxley Lennon’s retrial starts tomorrow, and hopefully he will be dealt with appropriately.
