Yes, I have to agree with OG there. Marijn. I've read the manual, and there's nothing to suggest having to repeatedly push the ECO button to keep it on.
Maybe a switch fault, or worse... a circuit board fault. I'd be more inclined to think it is a board fault though. I'm guessing that after you've turned on a tap, it goes back into non-ECO mode of its own accord.
Various little thyristors and sensors may also have an effect. They're cheap to replace.
Boilers are complicated enough these days. Adding "features" is welcome of course, but, as they say in the motor trade........ "it's something else to go wrong"
