When Is Mot Due?
The car is registered on 24th March 2016.
Can I take the MOT on say 23rd March 2019?
Or I need to take it 28th Feb 2019 the latest?
I am trying to do some planning for the car service with the MoT date.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.

If you get the car MOT'd a month before it is due you effectively get a 13 month MOT, I always do this as my MOT is due on the 20th December and I much prefer to do it in November.

Correct, I get a reminder about 6 weeks before, still keep original date. Expires 10th April, MOT done early March and that expires 10th April.

If you leave the MOT until its due date and it fails, you can't drive it away, it has no MOT.
If you get the test done early and it fails you can still drive it on the old MOT provided the car hasn't failed due to 'dangerous' problems and it is still roadworthy.
