Love the dark nights, fire on, something good to eat, catch up with things I've recorded on TV. All nice and cosy, but then I've never minded winter. This summer was wayyy too hot for me! I'll watch Strictly tonight now I know the result ...

i used to have a real fire place and loved the roaring of the coal but that was a while ago, and there is no way a coalman is going to lug the stuff up 4 flights of stairs.
i have an electric fire now, but it's just not the same.

I thought that method unwieldy, for me at least - I'll use pom pom makers and have bought a mixed pack of mini ready made ones to fill any gaps.

I've just started on a huge pom pom rug (seems to be the theme this year).

Judging by the way its going it will take me till spring at this rate!

But i dont mind snuggling down with it while watching a bit of winter TV.

Mr K is moaning about the bits beinging everywhere already but he'll get over it. Ha Ha!

For some strange reason, the time on our boiler went forward last night! It was two hours ahead, this morning, when I got up.

Nice meal now sitting enjoying glass of shiraz, long soak in the bath later, snuggly new PJs and a hot drink before bed. Been making cards all afternoon. Still got a few to do as my stocks of all sorts has run down. Mum wants some special cards as well. That can wait until tomorrow... or the next day.....
