Is it me or are the soaps getting a bit boring ?

I can't get into any of them at the moment , might be because it's sunny , don't know what it is but none of them have got any oomph at the moment. In Eastenders there is no strong characters like grant, Kat, sharon. They just seem to be plodding on. Maybe they are saving themselves for the christmas (horrible to say this word while sun is shining ) episode Do you agree or disagree ? thanks

eastenders hasnt been the same since grant(swoon!!) left...its soooo dull. apparantly a few are getting killed off in the christmas episode!

Do you know who they are killing off ? Is this when Wendy Richard leaves ?

They never have any major storylines over the summer because most of their watchers will be on holidays and therefore missing out

I stopped watching EE a long time ago, simply because it was so unbelievably miserable all the time. All the characters ranted at each other in front of any customer who happened to be in the cafe/pub/market stall at the same time. I used to love it because of the strong storylines and great drama, but the constant misery just got to me in the end. The only soap I watch now is Corrie, which sometimes can be daft, but at least it has comedy adn good one-liners which make me laugh!
