Daily Mirror Of The 1950S. ( And Earlier )
10 Answers
Don't know if there are any other ancients like me out there who were around in the 1950s who can recall the amusing strip cartoons of the Daily Mirror in those days.
There was one about the escapades of Jane, a blond bombshell who bore a resemblance (accidental ? ) to Marylin Monroe, and a character who I think was called Ruggles. He looked a little like Captain Mainwaring of Dad's Army. I know there a few more - can anyone dust off the cobwebs and help out ?
