4. Blesma Place Names Quiz. All of the answers are the names of places in Great Britain. Closing date 31st October 2018.

6. It’s All Greek To Me. Raising money for Water Aid. All answers are people/animals, real or imaginary, who are Greek or of Greek extraction. Closing date 30th November 2018.
7. TREES. In aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Closing date 31st November 2018.

8. Childrens Society Autumn Quiz. Raising money for the Childrens Society. Please send a SAE as not available on line. Closing date 31st December 2018.
9. Autumn Quiz. In aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. 15 questions on words associated with the months ahead. 15 questions on song titles with a type of weather realted word in the answer. 15 questions with a weather related word in the answer. Closing date 8th December 2018.

10. The Hammond Property Services Annual Quiz. Raising money for Child Line. Answers are easy cryptics, anagrams and clues. Closing date 12th January 2019.
11. Cryptic clues and anagrams. Answers include flora, fauna and farming . In aid of Brompton and Sawdon CP School. Closing date 14th January 2019.

12. Occupations Quiz. Closing date 20th February 2019.

I offered to compile a quiz to raise some needed funds for our Trefoil Guild. Whilst I compile quizzes for Buxton Mountain Rescue which some think are a challenge, this quiz is easier and is really a one off.
All answers contain a type of transport. Clues are cryptic & anagram.
Closing date 13th January, 2019. (No asking for online help before 3rd January 2019).
1st Prize £10. In the event of a tie, winner will be picked at random plus 1 x £5 prize to be picked at random from all returned sheets irrespective of questions answered.
To obtain the quiz please send a SAE plus £1 cheque made payable to Mrs G. Halliday, ‘Lorien’. Main Road, Stickney, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE22 8AG or if cash secure well.
Also available by email via PayPal cost £1.40 to cover PayPal’s admin charges using either the following link or enter my email address (please be sure to enter the ‘I’ in between Christian and surnames). I should automatically be informed once payment has been made then I email the quiz to you.

Trefoil Guild is a section of Girl Guiding the members of which pass on their skills and knowledge to Rainbows the youngest branch, the Brownies, Girl Guides including the Senior Section and Rangers. Some members are leaders and unit helpers. We are often asked to give grants to allow Guides to attend jamborees etc held in foreign countries.
We also have our own opportunities to take on new personal challenges.
Our group meet once a month but also are invited to other Guilds within our area. We have quiz nights and invite speakers to give us talks on their specialized subjects for which we always give a donation to their cause which is normally a charity.

Many thanks to all who supported our Plane Talking quiz which raised £129 for our funds. Winner was Gloria Prior of Chatteris. 100 sheets were returned of which 58 were all correct. Apologies for wrong number of letters given for No 11. Answer was C-rash, but many people still got it right. New quiz "Under The Sea, out now. From J. The quiz is a mixture of Pictures (Famous people disguised as Santa and stills from Christmas Movies), Festive Food and Drink, Christmas Movies, A Sporting Christmas, Christmas Day Historical Events and Christmas Mixed Bag.
