the danger here at night time is more the badgers than the birds - hit a badger and you would probably know about it.....better than France though. My sis and her OH were returning from their Provence palace and, just north of the Garonne, collided with a wild boar at 90mph - a Beamer is tough....
They managed to get into a service area and jury rig the radiator for it to then 'collapse' 8kms up the road. Into an 'aire' and up comes a gendarme on a bike - with one tusk in hand - and the insurance forms pertaining to les sangliers.....obviously a common thing. He then whittled down twigs and successfully made bouchons to take them through to their friends in Cognac.
gawd....Frogland has its own hazards ! badgers up the top here on the Vogrie Estate....huge area so only a few venture out, but sad to see them squashed
minty, one left aboard to man/woman the helm...
i guess by this time boaty is taking the wee white tornado for a walk, unless like here its phising down.
