Donating medical equipment

Does anyone out there know of organisations who will take used medical equipment for use in the third world etc? Our dental practice has, amonst other things, an old x-ray processing unit which is in perfect working order but no longer needed. It seems a shame to dispose of stuff like this when there must be charities out there who could make good use of it. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
