Selling A Car For Spares

I have a car that I want to sell for spares. The engine won't start now so would need to be towed away. I have never sold a car before..so would welcome any tips.

I sold mine on eBay, put in the description what was wrong with it, and got an offer the same day.

Phone up a few breakers in your area and ask what they will pay for it
If you are happy with an offer they will come and take it away

Most breakers charge to tow away.

I sold mine to a scrap dealer. They came and picked it up and handed me the cheque.

You have to have your paperwork.

put it on ebay, "spares or repair" - on fact do a search and see the ones already on there.

If your handy with a spanner and the car is on your land and your not in a hurry to get rid of it,you’d probably get more advertising for individual parts.
