I received an email from Morrisons, store I have dealt with, usually for online deliveries. I was offered a prize of my choice if I completed the "How did we do form. I did this, it looked like a genuine Morrison site. I chose an IPhone and my email was there. It said I had to pay £2 and the usual form for payment.
"Under" the email original saying Morrisons was the address "[email protected]". I usually Google these hidden but it didn't come up any scam.
How is it a prize if you are paying for it ? Or was that delivery costs ? I'd be wary were I you. Confirm with Morrison's going there yourself, not using any suspicious, looked genuine, e-mail link.
Linda they can't do much with just your email address but it would be wise to phone your bank so they can put an alert on your account. You do not have to wait until tomorrow just ring the number on the back of your card its a 24 hour service.
My wake-up call to start the week, 06:45 this morning, a very heavily
Indian accented recorded call,
"Hello, this is BT, your Internet Connection has been compromised, please press 1 to connect to BT etc"
In my sleep-deprived state I accidently cut them off.
Oh well, I guess if it was important they'll call back. ;o)
