Bbc Iplayer Not Letting Me Sign In

As instructed on the iplayer, I set up an account on my ipad and then went back to the iplayer on my tv and tried to sign in. It keeps on coming up with this code, different each time which I need to use when setting up my account, which I have already done. Just not working on the tv, anyone else had this problem.

have you tried turning the TV off and on again, and then trying to sign into your iplayer account like you've had one the entire time?

No I have not before when I set up an account for the iplayer it told me it should refresh when I used the code and I would then be able to sign in on the tv. Good idea I will turn off the router and tv and try again, thanks.

Should not be a need to turn off router.

I assume you followed the instructions, used the code and it just did not work? In that case i assume you closed the app then opened it again after setting up iplayer.

Turn off TV, try the App again, and make sure to check "i have an existing account" or something similar if possible.

Make sure you don't need to register an email address (ie, go to your emails, and activate the address from a email)

Sadly I am getting nowhere with this, turned my tv off at at wall and router, went back into BBC iplayer pressed Sign in comes up with the same problem, asks me to go to mobile device go into BBC account and put code in, guess I am going to have to watch it on my ipad.

The obvious solution would appear to be to use a different email address to create another account. That might well be all that's needed to fix the problem.

Yes I am going to reregister, in the meantime I have been able to sign in as a Guest using a code through a telephone code.

Make sure your account details work.

Sign in to the address given by the tv, rather than going to any other BBC address.

I helped somebody do this last week - it didn't work for him on his ipad, but I signed in as him on my ipad and then it accepted the code.

Are you suppose to use the ipad as the remote like a chrome cast?

i got the code on my laptop, then used the code on the tv sign in
or try vice versa, it does work
