Sally/tim In Corrie

Yes I know it’s only a soap, but am really shocked as to how they have played this storyline out. They’ve completely changed Tim’s character. He was absolutely devoted to Sally and now suddenly he believes every lie that Gina is telling him about Sally, ie having an affair when she didn’t. Why do they always ruin the good couples??

Duncan flattered Sally and listened to her. She did tell him (as she's told Tim many times) that Tim doesn't care about his appearance and lacks ambition which at times drives her mad but she also told Duncan that she loves Tim and Tim is a fantastic husband.
Sally also moaned to Duncan about Gina and the strain of looking after somebody who is bipolar and she has argued with Gina about her behaviour. Gina does feel that she's a burden at times and feels guilty about the problems she caused Sally and Tim.
When Duncan told the court about Sally's opinion of Tim and Gina there was enough of the truth to be convincing and cause hurt. All good conmen and women are convincing and believable and Duncan is a master.
Gina has fallen in love with Tim and is torn between her feelings for him and her loyalty to Sal. I can't work out if she's being manipulative in convincing Tim that Sal did have an affair with Duncan or honestly believes that she did. I think she's seen her chance and is grabbing it with both hands but feels guilty about it.
Duncan has been very clever in making sure he has no assets, he has hidden the money well. As it stands Sally's house may have to be sold to repay the money.
I think something is going to come to light that sees Duncan in jail and Sally released, probably around Christmas as has been mentioned.
I believe Sally and Tim will stick together and Gina will be written out for a while at least.

I can't believe Tim has lost his faith in Sally either, really annoys me that storyline! Poor Sally must feel terrible. And as for that Gina, God I can't stand her, manipulative cow, how dare she think she can worm her way into Sally's home and steal her man !! Yes, they do always ruin the good couple Smo.
