Hmmm, interesting, i guess they would just die in a bush or somthing, then get eaten by a homeless fella.

well i think your thinking maybe of elton johns song "how come birds dont fall from the sky when they die, they always find a quiet place to hide" its had me puzzled aswell. i mean you never see a bird croak and go falling down and splat onto the road..........but theres so amny dead birds around how do they all get there?

The pheasants round here just stand at the side of the road Then they run out under any passing vehicle!
