Does anyone know how to convert SHN files to MP3?

A bit of Googling suggests that VLC can open .shn files. If so, it should be possible to convert them to MP3.

You've probably already got VLC on your computer but, in case you haven't, here's the link:

I saw the link offered by Tony but decided not to post it here because such sites (with 'free' software downloads) have a nasty habit of letting you get started in your task and then demanding money to complete it. (Faasoft Audio Converter costs $25).

(Looking at the 'pricing' section suggests that there's some sort of limit on how many minutes of conversion you can do for free in one day but, if you need to, you might be able to get around that by signing up for several free accounts and deleting cookies from your browser after each conversion).

According to a list on the NCH software site, Lamexp can convert these files, and it's definitely free.
