Tuesday. I haven't looked outside yet. So no idea what it's like. It's not frosty though, so no need for skis or snow boots this morning. A busy day, to the hospice after collecting the paper, how long I'll be there remains to be seen. I don't mind how long though. Then to Wotton-under-Edge. It's a nice wee town.

The Ealing comedies were wonderful. The Titfield Thunderbolt was a classic.
my all time hero is Fred Astaire, i love him in anything, i wished i could have danced like him, also Deanna Durbin was my other go to films.
Family favs..and Clitheroe ..Hancock on a Sunday ..we loved it as children

If I watch old films it tends to be stuff from the 70s and early 80s my mum would enjoy the older ones mostly Westerns with John Wayne.

hate cowboy films..indians terrified me as a child..
all this nostalgia, makes me long for those days some times, but there are good films out now, and the technology is second to none.

I don't remember any of the stuff like Hancock, apart from the very early tv shows. It might be my family just didn't listen, but I think I just missed that era.
anyway time to wash up, better get it done before i give up on the idea.......
I think Radio was the preferred option in days of yore..telly was only 2 stations that came later in afternoon and finished 10pm... not a lot of stuff for children so we had radio on as a rule
best go get dressed ..living in hope that builders will turn up to sort this mountain of debris and dirt outside... speak later xx
