Isn't there an icon at the top of your browser that gives access to controls ?

Right click on the adblocker icon , probably just to the right of the www address bar then select 'manage extensions' and turn off. Or if on Chrome, click on the 3 vertical dots, select Nore Tools then Extensions etc

With Adblock Plus in Firefox there's a little red 'ABP' icon (a bit like a 'Halt' road sign) at the top right of the page. Move the blue slider button to the left to disable adblocking on the site you're trying to view. Then press F5 to reload the page with the ads present.

NB: Some sites require that you turn your adblocker off in order to view them but then still won't load when you do so. That's because you also need to turn off 'tracking' on such pages. To do that you need to click on the shield icon just to the left of the web address at the top of the page and then click on 'Disable Blocking Temporarily'.
