Yesterday we were turning the heating up and doubling layers before going outside: today we have the windows open! Its beautiful and bright here in the east, whats it like elsewhere?

its the same here in London, bright and been mostly blue skies.
though i think this might change this afternoon, going on some of the clouds floating by now.
I know this is about English weather, but here in Northern Ireland it’s sunny but chilly.
Quite warm with mixed sky of grey and blue here in Gods own country.

Yes, apologies for the English word there Rockrose. I tend to think of our weather as more changeable than the weather in the north and west, but no doubt I am completely mistaken!

Its so mild, I've just been out cleaning the windows and sweeping the last of the leaves. Three loads of washing on the line, its quite unlike the week before Christmas.
still chilly so the doors and windows will stay shut. It was sunny this morning (London) and now it isn't.

Bright and sunny in this bit of North Notts,but you need your coat when you go out.
