But does anyone honestly believe that monogamy is natural?
At 52 yrs of age Ive *HAD* to come to the conclusion that humans just arnt meant to be monogamous. (either male or female) as much as we might like to think so...or wish!
Men still watch porn and women still like to read 50 Shades, etc.
Some might be monogamous in life but not in the head or emotions...

True but men seem to have an aesthetic preference with breasts, they either like buxom lasses like me or more athletic girls who are usually less well endowed. I've never once heard a woman say she doesn't want her man hung like a stallion in fairness, and for me it does make a difference, and big is beautiful :)

As always, primeval senses influence our subconscious choices in a prospective mate -

A man will be attracted to a woman with larger breasts and wider hips because that indicates she will breed well, and a woman will be attracted to a man with physical strength and height because that indicates that he will be able to protect her.

Of course, modern tastes do overrule the criteria based on reproduction, but those factors are still there, because Man is still primitive in so many ways.
