Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Most of the grid filled in and I have 3 of the 4 answers without definition. I know the verse and the forth line has my 3 out of four answers in it. I've tried anagraming them, but that doesn't work & would give me 26 not 22 letters to highlight. What am I doing wrong? I'm assuming the highlighted letters are foodstuff not money? Any help with one of the highlighted words would be very helpful.

I still can't do 36 across. Are my 28 down (recast) & 29 down (anagrammed to pastes) OK ?
Still hunting bread!

36 'end' is the definition (an archaism) C(aught) + a 5 letter word for 'kid' with the 'face' (first letter removed) gives the initial answer that you mentioned earlier - but which changes after you've entered the anagram PASTES so that the E changes to S.
Then look at the word stating from the M of 32ac.

... by 'archaism' I meant it becomes an archaism for the same word after the anagram of 'stapes' to PASTES.
I'm making this far more complicated than it should be - sorry!
