perhaps the report process should be more of a palaver and take a bit of time to get through - that would make the trigger happy reporting brigade less likely to bother so much.

perhaps there should be a box that asks for an explanation as to why its being posted or a few pages of boxes to tick.

this would stop people trawling the site just reporting things.

a few members have confessed they have done this randomly on occasion just for spite and a laugh.

I'll third it, if I may?

Lost a friend today on here.
Perhaps if a small electric shock was emitted to the reporter every time they reported then they would use the function sparingly
Why not just send the perpetrator to the electric chair, and done with it!!!

I'd pull the lever!!
but i report anything that offends me, as per the AB rules and terms of conditions and as i am a sensitive soul I tend to report what the younger and more sexy-underwear wearing generation may feel is totally acceptable, And then there is my daughter who gives no quarter to muppets but pays no attention to ***** so she would report rubbish but let sexually explicit go so oh what to do what to do!!!!!!!
OK dot, but what about the serial reporter who gets someone banned or suspended because they (the poster) have uncovered something about them? Yet the postings in themselves are harmless and not offensive in any way?

that is too complex a question for me bob, tell u what, i shall ponder it tomorrow when not so flustered
I report things if they are offensive, although some people do tend to pick on certain posters just to be mean. I don't think it should be a chore to report a post if you feel it is offensive, after all, it is up to the ABed to filter the reports and make a decision.
Well I have always found it incredibly hard to report anyone, however many times I've tried they have remained - so I've given up. I've always wondered how other folk have managed it.
I never report anything because I try to be fair, what is offensive to me may not be to other people as dot points out and if it's real s***e it speaks for itself and gets the damnation it deserves, but it does irritate me when people are singled out like poor n00dles was (tictactoe0. It's not fair and it's going to b******s up the site for everyone if we're not careful because lately we've got some really megalonmanic nutters on here who seem to be erporting all and sundry and imho things are going downhill rapidly.
Hello guys,

Nox, can I request you go to B&S and see my latest post on raysparx thread (31.7.06) titled TICTACTOE?

Have stressed to best I can on there.

i only ever report repeated questions.
I really don't care if people are being boring, rude, sexually explicit or offensive.
If i don't like the thread, I won't read it.
