Yeah my mate reckons he can jump as high as a double-decker bus. But i'm not so sure.
Spiders crawl up plug holes. No they don't! They smell water, come down from the wall or ceiling to find it, and get stuck in the bath or basin, and no, they don't crawl back if you flush them away, they drown in the drain trap.
.... there is a weird myth at http://tinyurl.com/gh282 ...

Sorry, I should have attempted to be more helpful. One myth, though not weird, is that Buddy Holly's plane was called "American Pie." It wasn't. And neither is it interesting!
not sure if myth or proven fact(how do they know) that you swallow an average of 4 spiders a year whilst your asleep!!!! euwwwww! and andy they do crawl back up after flushing down plug hole. i had beast of a spider reappear out of the overflow plug at the top of the bath while i was in it!
Poor jenarry, Im laughing so hard imagining you in the bath when a huge spider decided to join you! I feel Im entitled to laugh though because that also happened to me. (trust me, I wasnt laughing then)!!!!
i know.got bit of phobia so just having to deal with it was too much.then the horror of it reappearing!!!! aaargh.
