Has anyone been to the theatre at the Barbican? Is the entrance on Silk St? When I put the postcode in Googlemaps, it sticks the pin in the building.

The theatre entrance is on Silk Street

although you can probably access it via the main Barbican Centre entrance on Beech Street as well.

the place is a nightmare, but the Silk St entrance is the simplest. If coming on the tube, walk along Beech St, a covered street almost opposite Barbican Station entrance, to the far end, then right into Silk St.

We went to see Christy Moore at The Barbican some years ago. It took us ages to find the entrance. I have no idea which street the door was on. I was just relieved to have found it, eventually.
