We're trying to think of a fun game to play on Christmas afternoon. There will be six of us, all adults who like games but are looking for something fun and not too competitve. Ideally not word based or General Knowledge, as English is not the first language for all, not rude and not physical. Any ideas?
Aww, I look at those thank you gness. We need to steer clear of wordy games or knowledge based games looking for something light hearted and proper daft really!
Musical nuts... like musical chairs but using walnuts in a bowl so it can be played at the table. Pin the tail variants nose on Pinocchio, wig on trump, Willy on the hunk, , guess the goodies, blindfold food tasting points for getting it right highest score can nominate loser to eat something a bit yucky. Like a raw sprout or if you can get some candied locusts....
What about Pictionary, the drawing game. Even more fun when people are not very good at drawing but think their attempt is so obvious but not to the guessers.
there's always good old charades
also, if the 6 are of 3 couples - guess the husbands knees.
ladies exit the room, the men are seated with their knees bared, one lady enters, blindfolded, guided by the other 2 just to make sure the blind-folded lady only goes for the knees :D
(the men then swap seats for the next blind-folded lady etc etc)
Chow crown.
It's a hat of sorts with dangling straps with clips on the end to attach bits of food. The hat evolves and the game is to see who can eat the most bits of food.
I've got one for Christmas Eve.
I also have a guess the song using kazoos! Really funny.
We also play dont show your teeth.... hide your teeth with your lips & go round the alphabet- we usually say food.... not even allowed to show teeth when laughing- REALLY DAFT
