Braodband without Telephone line?

I want to get broadband in my home but I don't want or need a telephone.
I've contacted a few of the suppliers who tell me I need a BT line, although one of them hinted that there may be a way to get connected without one coming in the near future.
Anyone clued up who can advise?

hi i have used broadband via telewest broadband for 4 years with no telephone line as far as i know the only supplier that does although i could be wrong! brilliant company by the way...

contact telewest and tell them you only want broadband and they will install a cable connection to your premises if cable is already installed in your area.good luck.
