Cats playing dead?

Sometimes my cat Daniel lies so still that I think he's died! laying around all day, is there anything I can do to stimulate my cats mind, perhaps read him some prose?

Maybe you could try reading him the mewspaper! ;) sorry that was a bad joke. Is Daniel an indoor cat? My cat Millie is and so she need to be kept more stimulated than an outdoor cat. The best thing for that is a laser pointer. Millie loves it and as soon as i pick it up no matter where she is in the house she comes running. You can by them at Pets at Home if you have one near you in the cat toy section for about �10.

Try giving her fleas, that will make her a bit more active.

Great ideas!

Ive found that when i try to dress him up in leg warmers and a leather waist coat he starts to move a bit.

my cats love to chase a laser pen , just dont point it dirrectly at the eyes.
