I'm 15 and I've been thinking of possible future job careers, and I'd like to find out more about photography. Does anyone else have a career in photography who can give me information? Alternatively, does anyone know any sites that could point me in the right direction for information (starting from the very beginning because I'm sure I know nothing of what would be required)? Thanks xx

I'm not a photographer but I know people who are. make sure you get all the qualifications you need before looking for a job. if you have a local college ask them about courses you can take and ask them the best course for you if you want to make a career out of it. You also need to decide what type of photography you want to do i.e food for magazines, fashion, papers, portrait etc etc. Once you get on a college course you could ask companies such as your local paper if you could do work experience so you can get some hand on experience. Good luck in your venture, not many 15 year olds know what they want to do.

As a beginner, you're at indeal stage. Consider studying for a Photography GCSE (assuming your 6th Form or College has this as an option) and then go on to A-Level and even a Degree. If you are considering a Bachelor's Degree in Photography, I would start researching Universities now, so you can't working towards their acceptance criteria.
I would definitely advise you to keep a portfolio of all of your work (even the very early photographs). In the future, there may be companies and individuals that are interested in some of your archived work.
You need to be committed though. I studied for a degree in film-making and I am sure it would be the same as photography (which, incidentally, I did study an A-Level in). There are only so many positions available out there, and only the very best will succeed!
Best of luck!

Hi!
It's great to hear that you are planning on pursuing your passion as a profession!
I would like to suggest you that you should share your work on different social media platforms.
I want you to take a look at following application that might help you:
Add ShotOn Copyright Logo to Photo : This app automatically adds a ShotOn watermark on photographs captured using the built-in camera.
In that ShotOn watermark, you can edit the logo for Motorola device along with Texts for “Shot on and Shot by”
This way you can share your photographs with your copyright logo and get more business.
I hope you find my suggestion helpful :)
Get the app here: https:/ /play.g oogle.c om/stor e/apps/ details ?id=com .shoton waterma rkstamp .addsho tonform otorola photos
