erm last night on an AB thread we had Abdus Salaam being persecuted for being the wrong kind of muslim

Jim are you really unaware as a physicist yourself that Abdus Salaam gorra nobel prize in Phys and was the father of the pakistani nuclear effort ?

frankly I think you should be - A S was also chucked out of Pakistan for being the wrong sect - well he fled before they could hang him ....and went and did physics ( you know your own subject ) somewhere else
