Apparently, French police are using LBD’s (rubber balls) against protesters. People have lost an eye because of it.

Baton rounds tend to spoil the usual riff raff’s riotous high jinx. I am told that depleted U2 torch batteries fit the bore of a baton gun but tend to be a little lethal.
No one knows the health of a rioter or prisoner/suspect and a taser or CS has proved to be lethal in some situations. Best non lethal outcome would be a good boy/girl and stay at home. :-)
